Battery Storage Sites - Sault Ste. Marie

The proposed Project at 2269 Queen St East ​is currently in the feasibility phase and involves the installation of lithium-iron phosphate battery modules, supplementary power equipment, minor civil work, as well as safety and security infrastructure. The site will include buffer landscaping and fencing where necessary. The facility is anticipated to have a nameplate capacity of ~10 MW. Interconnects to IESO using the nearby 34.5 kV circuit.
